What to bring:
-
PLEASE MARK EVERYTHING WITH YOUR DOG'S NAME
-
Something that smells like home for their suite - a towel is perfect or their bed
-
Food - what they normally eat - going to dog camp can be stressful the first few times so please make sure they come with their regular food
-
Specialty treats if they need them or we can use a handful of their kibble - we have mini milkbones and beef liver treats here
-
No need to bring bowls - we have plenty
TIPS for a happy drop off:
-
Say your goodbyes at home as best as you can - when you drop them off be cheery and happy - please try not to call your dog's name while we are bringing them into the kennel - it is confusing for them
-
Have your items labelled and we will help you unload
-
When you pull in please treat the area in front of the kennel like a round about - please wait in line if there are cars in front of you and remain in your car
-
Please wait in your car until you are first in line before exiting your vehicle - DO NOT PARK where the parked cars are - these are staff and house vehicles - our goal is to have everyone moving in a forward motion
-
If possible please hand over all items before taking your dog out of the car
-
ALWAYS have your dog on a leash!!
